Ingredients

Beef consomme                                                        2.5 ltr

Milk                                                                         75 ml

Egg                                                                          1

Salt

Cayenne pepper

Method

  1. Prepare and cook a savoury egg custard.
  2. Allow to go cold.
  3. Cut into neat squares or diamonds.
  4. Add to the soup just before serving.
  5. The prepared royal garnish may be stored in cold water until required for use.
