FAA Level 3 Award in Forestry First Aid (RQF) 2/3 Day Cost Per Delegate: £120

The qualification has been designed to provide the knowledge and competence for a learner to deal with emergency first aid situations in a forestry/agricultural environment. 

The FAA Level 3 Award in Forestry First Aid (+F), is designed to accompany a suitable First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work qualification to enable a learner to meet the requirements of the Forestry Commission First Aid at Work Policy.

Syllabus 

The range of subjects covered are: 

On entry holding a 3 Day FAW or a 1 Day EFAW, if none are held then the course is 3 days FAW + F, 

if the EFAW is held then the course is 2 FAW +F, 

If 3 day FAW is held then the course is 1 day refresher + F

 

Forestry First Aid Element (+F)

  • Emergency planning and remote medical assistance

  • Lyme disease
Certification 
The practical and theoretical assessment is ongoing throughout the duration of the course and a three year qualification can be offered to all, subject to assessment.

A maximum of 12 students can be accommodated on this course. 

Age 

limit Students must be a minimum of 14 years of age to attend this course.
