Fried Herrings

Ingredients

Herrings                                                           10 x 150 g

Flour                                                                        50 g

Oil                                                                           100 ml

Mustard sauce                                                          250 ml

Salt

Pepper

Method

  1. Clean and prepare the herrings without removing the roe.
  2. Make 3 incisions with a sharp knife into the thick part of the flesh on each side.
  3. Pass through seasoned flour.
  4. Shallow fry in hot oil.
  5. Serve on a warm dish with mustard sauce separately.
