Fish in Bread Crumbs

Ingredients

Fish fillets                                                              10 x 100 g

Breadcrumbs                                                           125 g

Eggs                                                                         3

Flour                                                                        50 g

Lemon                                                                     1

Salt

Pepper

Parsley

Method

  1. Season the prepared fillets.
  2. Pass fillets through flour, egg and breadcrumbs
  3. Fry in deep hot fat as required.
  4. Serve on a warm dish using garnished with lemon wedges and fried parsley.

Notes:

1.     Tartare Sauce is served with this dish.

2.     Suitable fish for this recipe are cod, haddock and plaice but other white fish may be used.
